they finally came when I was home for the gas meter. It wasn’t that bad. (When I called in a reading they didn’t believe what I told them.)
It’s just that I’ve lived here for almost 1.5 years and never had them complain about not being able to access my gas meter. So it can’t be in my apartment and we don’t have a basement (I think? If we do, I’ve never seen an entrance). It’s got to be somewhere in the locked area on the first floor where the super’s apartment is. So I can’t really help ConEd here—except to call the super and tell him to deal with it, I guess.
